Please check with local law enforcement authorities
for possible restrictions.
An important note concerning ingredients
in our Pepper Spray products:
Our Pepper Spray products contain the ingredient called Olesoresin Capsicum (OC). They come in either 10% or 15% (the highest percentage allowed by law), and have a 2 million Scoville heat rating. OC is a derivative of hot cayenne peppers. It is pure, non-toxic and nonflammable. OC is not an irritant like tear gas but an inflammatory agent. Contact with mucous membranes (eyes, nose, throat and lungs) causes an immediate dilation of the capillaries of the eyes, resulting in temporary blindness and constricted breathing. It does not interfere with necessary breathing to sustain life. Effects last 30 to 45 minutes. Units can be fired multiple times and have a range of 8 to 20 feet, depending on the model.
OC self defense products have been used extensively by law enforcement personnel and postal employees. These products have proven to be a safe, effective deterrent against all people, including those who are psychotic or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They are the BEST restraint yet discovered against attacking dogs and wild animals. Pepper sprays also contain UV (ultraviolet) dye. It has been useful to law enforcement officials to identify criminals because it remains on the skin, even after repeated washings. All products contain only ingredients that have been laboratory tested and proven 100% safe when used against humans or animals.
